Cercis canadensis Forest Pansy

A wonderful large shrub or small tree with dark red-purple, heart-shaped leaves and small pink / purple flowers in spring before the leaves appear.  The leaves turn yellow and orange in autumn.  6m x 6m.  Best in full sun or dappled shade in deep soil.
