Miscanthus sinensis Ferner Osten

Dense clumps of narrow grey-green leaves with pale midribs.  The flowers are a pronounced red colour when they first open in mid-late August before fading.  100-150cm tall.  Best planted in a moist soil in full sun.  Will take a dry soil once established.
